田我流 (Dengaryu) will play Shibuya WWW on November 11 for the fourth edition of “田我流ノ日 (Dengaryu no Hi)“, his annual solo show that’s become a fixed date in the Japanese rap calendar. The announcement follows a heavy year of touring. The “流 ~ながれ (Nagare)” tour covered eleven cities across Japan, and a Taiwan date is scheduled for August before this November show. WWW isn’t just any venue for him: it’s where he played his first-ever solo concert. Coming back there every November 11 has become a deliberate tradition, to the point where he’s half-seriously proposing the date be officially declared “Dengaryu Day“.
For this fourth edition, he plans to play new tracks alongside the set sharpened by the recent tour. MAHBIE, the Iwate-based beatmaker who frequently works with him, will be on stage. Dengaryu describes the night as a “forced dribble”, his way of saying he’s not showing up in cruise mode. The capacity is deliberately smaller than his recent Tokyo shows. That means tickets will move fast. Sales are already open on eplus.jp, first come, first served. A reduced ticket at ¥3,000 is available in limited numbers for middle- and high-school-age attendees, based on age rather than proof of enrollment.
One notable detail: no industry or press invitations. Dengaryu stated it directly: everyone in the room will have paid for their ticket.
