First collaboration for both: DUSTY HUSKY has never worked with a Korean MC before, and Deepflow has never released an official track featuring a Japanese MC. Both have spent years building their catalogs independently, on opposite sides of the same underground. “Hi (불)” isn’t a calculated crossover. It’s two artists who didn’t need to do this, doing it anyway.
DUSTY HUSKY comes out of MOSS VILLAGE, signed to DLiP RECORDS, a Tokyo label with hardcore hip-hop at its core. After his second album, he moved to Bangkok, then returned to Japan to record his third solo project. His output has stayed consistent without chasing the market.
The beat is from Korean B-boy and DJ DET S’RIGHT: heavy drums, a dark groove, production that sits closer to an Asian noir film score than a rap single. Japanese and Korean trade off across the track. The language gap doesn’t create distance; it creates texture. MV directed by disskull. Dark palette, tight frames, pressurized atmosphere. It matches the track without illustrating it.
Lyrics by Deepflow and DUSTY HUSKY. Production and composition by DET S’RIGHT. MV dropped June 11. The single hits Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and more from June 13, 2026. That same day, both artists performed at BLAQLIST, the DLiP RECORDS event at Club Asia in Shibuya, which has been running since 2009. A live performance of “Hi (불)” is on the program.
