MIKADO, a rapper from Wakayama, releases “Bling Blaow” on July 31, the first single from an upcoming album. Production by TRILL DYNASTY, a Japanese producer who has worked with Lil Durk and hit number one on the Billboard US R&B/Hip-Hop chart. The video drops August 1. MIKADO has been building a presence across the current Japanese rap network: he appeared on Bark’s Bling 2 Tape in June, featured on YDIZZY’s “roLL caLL,” and was on the NEUTRAL ARENA 2026 lineup in Sendai.
“Bling Blaow” is a heavy trap track built around the word “blaow,” slang that generates its own groove through repetition. The track maps MIKADO’s journey from poverty upward, and from that point into whatever comes next, no backward glance, just forward movement. The word “blaow” comes back enough times that it sticks after one listen. TRILL DYNASTY builds the production around that rhythm, giving a Japanese MC a beat that sits at international standard without pulling him out of his own register.
