JiLL and beatmaker Mill1 release Asian Gyal on Central Cartel, a label based in central Kawasaki. The track is mellow and melodic, built for the summer months. Central Cartel operates out of a part of Kawasaki that’s been producing credible rap names for several years now. JiLL works in a hybrid mode: his flow sits closer to melodic delivery than straight rap, and that distinction shows throughout the track.
The lyric that pulls everything together is “有り金を減らし 注ぎ足した Hennessy” (I spent everything I had and kept pouring more Hennessy). It comes back several times, functioning as an unofficial hook that holds the song in place. The rest of the text circles around a single unforgettable night on the road, told through impressions rather than narrative. Mill1 handles production; I-DeA takes mix and mastering.
