EVISBEATS & Nagipan Announce Album Beauty for September 25, Single “Ikishini” Out Now

EVISBEATS and Nagipan release “Ikishini” on September 4. The album Beauty, a ten-track project, follows on September 25 via AMIDA STUDIO. Production by both; guitar by TAKU INSIST; recording, mixing, and mastering by EVISBEATS.

The context is specific: EVISBEATS had just finished a trilogy of three albums (萃点 / Suiten, 岡潔 / Oka Kiyoshi, 三三三 / Sanmai). What remained at the end of that work, as an unresolved sensation, was “beauty”. Beauty starts there, not as an abstract concept but as a concrete sonic quality the two were after: music you put on instinctively, without a particular reason, that settles in without forcing itself.

The method says something about the intent. EVISBEATS worked in analog: real microphones, real preamps, physical EQ, guitar amplifier. The result carries the resonance and imperfections that digital processing wouldn’t leave in. He describes the process as a body-level verification, measure by measure, rather than optimization. TAKU INSIST, a guitarist who visits the studio once a month, appears throughout the album. His intermittent, regular presence ended up written into the sound.

“Ikishini” is the lead track. Chamber piano, guitar, Nagipan’s voice. Nothing spectacular in the production, nothing understated either. The track stays in the ear because it’s built that way, with melodies that land immediately and a certain restraint in how they’re delivered. EVISBEATS is known for his collaborations with Ill-Sugi, Hunger (Gagle), and Sweet William. Nagipan is a Japanese singer whose voice fits naturally in the open spaces this kind of production leaves. Beauty will stream on all platforms from September 25.
