Senninsho Drops “99’Til Infinity” Video to Mark the Vinyl Release of BOY MEETS WORLD (MASS-HOLE REMIXES)

Senninsho releases the video for “99’Til Infinity” on September 4, alongside the vinyl release of BOY MEETS WORLD (MASS-HOLE REMIXES), out since August 19 on WDsounds / Dogear Records / P-VINE. The story behind this project goes back to 2018. When BOY MEETS WORLD, Senninsho’s second album, came out that year, MASS-HOLE was working in parallel on a full remix album for promotional use. That album never came out in physical form. It circulated in close circles but remained unreleased to the wider public. This LP pressing finally releases it as a fully limited edition.

The video for “99’Til Infinity” is built to accompany this release: it mixes the original DJ SCRATCH NICE version with the MASS-HOLE remix in a single edit, alternating between the two productions. Directed by xtothexx, the visual creator who has worked regularly with the Dogear Records circle. Unreleased footage shot in New York in 2018, during the making of the original album, is woven throughout. It’s not a nostalgia clip; it connects what was made then to what’s coming out now. BOY MEETS WORLD remains one of the reference albums of Japanese rap from the 2010s. Senninsho’s writing is dense, Tokyo-rooted, and never padded. DJ SCRATCH NICE’s production on the original album set a precise sonic frame. MASS-HOLE’s remixes approach it from a different angle: deeper, heavier, opening up the spaces the original keeps tight.
